Germantown Bayside Marina

Our 2014 renovation included new dockage and piers, and we are a small marina with four cottages and a boat ramp. Our own residence is this beachfront location. On the other hand, we charge $5 to use the boat ramp and $15 per night for overnight docking. Four of our cottages are available for rental. Normally, four people can sleep in three of the cabins (four twin beds). The fourth cabin is not available; it is waterfront, sleeps 12, and is rented out year-round by a club. A full bathroom, a refrigerator, a range, a microwave, a television, plates, silverware, a breakfast table, and an outdoor picnic table are all included in each insulated cabin. Free dockage and use of the boat ramp are included in the rental. We provide a clean cabin and the first set of bedding, but no further rooms service. The cost to rent a cabin is $80 per night, $400 per week, or $400 per month if rented annually or for nine months. People tell us that because this ramp is closer to Pamlico Sound, requires less boat petrol, and provides cover from Rose Bay waves in inclement weather, they prefer it to the Rose Bay NC Wildlife Ramp. We are thinking of selling hunting leases for woodlands that are home to turkeys, deer, and bears. The parcels are located in Beaufort and Hyde counties and total 10, 40, 100, and 125 acres.
