Quarterdeck Marina

The marina and staff were great. BUT there is an overhead powerline across the fairly small parking lot from the boat ramp. If you are a trailer sailor, you are better off stepping your mast in the water, since the power line makes it difficult (and dangerous) to manoeuvre to the ramp if the mast is up on your boat before you launch. Also, we managed to run the trailer off the end of the ramp. Perhaps that was operator error, but it was unpleasant. Consider the public ramp at Gosse Creek as an alternative
