Marina Nou Fontana

Marina Nou Fontana is a nautical facility that offers almost 500 moorings specifically designed for boats between 5 and 8.25 meters in length. The moorings are distributed in such a way that the water mirror is optimally utilized, ensuring high functionality of the facilities while maximizing occupancy. To achieve this, point berthing with side lever mooring has been chosen for most of the port, although there are also side moorings with levers at the bow and stern. This method of berthing, although relatively costly, has many advantages, such as eliminating anchor trains and delimiting the berthing positions, which in turn maximizes the effective width of the navigation channel. The staff is highly attentive and the facilities are well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience for visitors. The ramp system is quick and easy to use, although it would be beneficial if they differentiated the price based on the length of usage. Additionally, the recently renovated Canal de la Fontana towpaths are adorned with colourful flower beds, providing visitors with a serene and tranquil spot for a leisurely walk along the canal banks, away from the hustle and bustle of Arenal Beach.
